I am the owner of SkinLove. People would say "I am an ambitious, honest, successful entrepreneur, mentor, and educator." I would say "I was burnt out." My goal is to break barriers and generational curses so that my children would never have to go through the things that I had to. My narrative is just like many others "trying to get out of poverty and oppression with my sanity intact". 

 

While obtaining my master's in education I discovered how exhausting life can be. Being a teacher, mother, entrepreneur, and mentor caused significant stress. Especially, if you don't have boundaries and balance. I didn't, I thought I was WONDER WOMAN. I could do anything, for everybody but forgot about ME. I had no idea of how to destress, home life felt like another job, and there was chaos, anger, and resentment lingering. Counseling (even though much needed) was emotionally draining. I decided to go on a self-love journey that inspired me to create SkinLove.  I needed structure, order, balance, vision and more love. The practices I developed help me to reach this sense of peace and love for all things.  I was so happy about my results I wanted to tell the world! I want to help anyone who was like me going through life just doing not loving.
